About the Author
Many people have told me my collection is extensive (more than 10,000 items). The Raggedies keep me going even when I have had a bad day. Not a life-long collector but collecting for more than one-half of my life on the Earth. There is a myth that people look like their dogs. While I don’t look like Raggedy Ann I do sport her (and Raggedy Andy’s) likeness on my body in the way of a tattoo. Life is a challenge. I know I will never have every Raggedy ever created but I enjoy the hunt. When I find an item on my wish list I feel I have overcome a challenge. There is always room for one more.
When I received my first Raggedy Ann there were no books about the subject. Since then many have been published, although none is a one-stop masterpiece. In my book, which will be in numerous volumes, I hope to showcase the duo (and their friends) in an easy-to-read layout which hopefully will cause drooling, sighing, “I had that, or I wish I had that”, but no crying.
